Pendleton Ward developed the fictitious Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum, sometimes known as Bonnie, PB, and sporadically P-bubs in the American animated television series Adventure Time. Hynden Walch does her voice.

Although Bubblegum is exceedingly lovely and sympathetic, she can also become dark when disturbed. She also generally has a strong sense of justice. She is a smart woman who invented the Candy People in addition to a toy time machine and other things.

She converses with Lady Rainicorn in Korean and speaks both languages with ease. Magic is rejected by Bubblegum because, in her words, it is “just scientific principles dressed up as mystical hoodoo.”

More “Candy People” live in the Candy Kingdom, where Princess Bubblegum rules. Along with Finn the Human and Jake the Dog, the show’s protagonists, she makes her initial appearance in Ward’s 2008 pilot. There hasn’t been any public declaration of Bonnie’s sexual orientation.

Bubblegum has pale pink skin and long “hair” that is tinted like bubblegum. She frequently wears a pink dress with puffy sleeves and a purple accent. She routinely dons a lab coat and glasses for science tasks in addition to numerous other clothes.

Is Princess Bubblegum gay?

Reviewers have speculated that she is either bisexual, non-binary, queer, lesbian, or a combination of any of the above.
