3Jasmine graduated Harvard, were she began her creative collaboration with Oscar-nominated writer/director Damien Chazelle. She was an Executive Producer on "La La Land," produced Chazelle's first feature, "Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench" and was a key figure in the development and production of Academy Award winning film "Whiplash." Jasmine made her feature length directorial debut with small indie film "Maria My Love", starring Karen Black and Judy Marte, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Jasmine has worked as a screenwriter for years and has been invited to participate in a variety of artist-in-residence and mentoring programs, Film Independent's directors lab, and as a juror for film festivals and screenwriting competitions. As of fall 2016, Jasmine is in pre-production for her film "Storm Cloud Blue", which she wrote and will direct. She's also developing her project "Fencer" inspired by her experience as an elite athlete. Jasmine is known as a national champion fencer and four-time U.S. Cadet and Junior World Team member. She was voted one of Teen Magazine's Athletes of the Year, has trained at the US Olympic Training Center, and is an NCAA All-American athlete. She has won numerous national and international medals, including gold at the Junior Olympics, gold at the Heidenheim Cadet World Cup, and gold at the Div1A U.S. National Championships. While at Harvard Jasmine helped her team win the Division I NCAA Championship title, the first in Harvard fencing history.
